I transformed a fragmented, checkbox-style outreach process with no marketing system into a connected, trust-building communications engine for a digital health company serving patients with chronic conditions.

By interviewing over 60 patients to understand their motivations, barriers, and trust gaps, I was able to translate those insights into actionable messaging pillars, automate a 12-month communication journey across multiple channels and launch a Facebook community.

Results

I built a scalable multi-channel funnel that reached 25,000 patients across multiple touchpoints, increasing enrollment rates while operating with only a third of the previous marketing budget. This effort delivered $60K/month by improving patient conversion. Ultimately, these strategies enabled the team to 10x marketing output in under two years.

Learnings

Before automating any communication, it is critical to really know your customers/patients. A "checkbox-style" outreach is often a symptom of a company that prioritizes efficiency and scaling before it truly understands motivations, barriers, and emotional state. What good is scaling the wrong kind of outreach?!
